L’auberge de jeunesse de Marseille Bonneveine is located in the heart of Marseille 8th arrondissement, near the Prado beaches and the Parc National des Calanques. It has 150 beds distributed on two levels with rooms from 2 to 8 people. L’auberge de jeunesse de Bois Luzy

This is a particularly nice one. L’Auberge de Jeunesse de Marseille Bois-Luzy is located in the peaceful quarter Montolivet, inside a Second Empire style castle perched on a hill. Individual or double rooms are available as well as dormitories (up to 14 people). But most of the rooms offer 6 beds. Again, communal bathrooms distributed on the two floors. Campers will enjoy the site and bring their tent to camp outside. A kitchen is also available and the hostel organises theme nights every evening.

Les hôtels Vertigo

Since 2007, two Vertigo hostels are established in Marseille city’s centre, one near the Gare Saint-Charles, and the other near the Vieux-Port. Their location is ideal for those who want to go out and feel the city’s beat without using a car. Both hostels offer rooms to share between 2 and 6 people. And each room has its own shower and toilets. The 6 people rooms even offer two bathrooms. With a night come Free WiFi access, laundry, communal furnished kitchen use and free left luggage.

Hello Marseille

Located in the city’s centre, this youth hostel is a bit different: it is an association and the way it is run is specific (everyone participates to the hostel life). Booking is done only on the hostel website. It’s a small and friendy hostel that can host 18 people in total (4 dormitories with communal bathrooms).
