Barcelone has its Boqueria, Lisbon its Time Out, Stockholm its Saluhall, and now Marseille has its Docks! With the Saint-Victor and Docks markets our city offers two halls with delis, restaurants and bars. A different way to taste and share local food.
Le marché Saint-Victor was the first « tapas market » to open in Marseille, in 2014. Located in Saint-Victor quarter, a few steps from the famous Saint-Victor abbey, it’s a small space with six little shops and stalls. The shops sell different products that you can have in, standing on high table with a glass of wine. Fresh seafood, tapas, burgers, this is the perfect spot for afterwork drinks, and we recommend you to visit the place in the evening to enjoy the atmosphere. Naturally, the founder of the place, the Marseillais restaurateur Jérémy Depieds, took his inspiration from Spain..
The Docks market
Les Docks covered market recently opened with Mediterranean traditional products. It’s located opposite to Le Silo in Atrium 10.8 (building’s north entrance). The market is open everyday. You will find a wine shop, a beer shop, a coffee roaster shop… And of course a butcher, charcutier, épicier, fromager, pâtissier, a rotisserie, and a corner with fresh pasta.
